历史沿革[edit]

西溪一名的来历：此地位于旧河源县境内偏西一带，有溪水流过，因而得名。[3]

西溪一地，1958年为西溪大队，1983年为西溪乡，1987年为西溪管理区。1999年由县政府批准成立村委会，此后名称未再更改。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年3月，西溪村获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号；2024年1月，又被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2023年4月，西溪村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单；2019年9月，它还在「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单之上。[1]
