双江村是东源县双江镇下辖的行政村，村名取自两条小溪汇合的地方。2020年，该村以双江西瓜入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：大路下的小溪与新坑小溪在此相汇，两溪合称“双江”（客家话把溪叫作江），故以此为村名。[1]

1958年这里设双江大队，1983年改为双江乡，1987年改为双江管理区，1994年称双江村委会，此后沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

2020年8月，双江村入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，产品为双江西瓜。[1]

双江村的人居环境积分制由驻镇帮扶工作队在村里试点推行，以积分激励村民参与村务。村内还有一座帮扶车间，是2011年由深圳宝安区松岗街道办援建的单层厂房，占地约300平方米，距党群服务中心约50米，可供30余名村民同时做五金加工。[2]
