角塘村是蓝口镇辖下的行政村。村旁有一口又大又长的池塘，池塘位于村落最角落处，村名由此而来。[1]

广东省爱卫会于2021年12月授予角塘村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2019年9月，村庄入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为角塘大队，1983年改设角塘乡，1987年改为角塘管理区，1999年经县政府批准改设角塘村委会。[1]
