老埔场村是蓝口镇辖下的行政村。约260多年前，龙川登云人迁来落居，在山中一片小平原上定居，取名老埔，村名由此而来。[1]
2019年10月，老埔场村入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。河源市文明委于2021年1月授予村庄「2020年度河源市文明村」称号。老埔场村以千禧小番茄入选「第二批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」，该名单由广东省农业农村厅于2021年9月公布。[1]
