小水村位于东源县船塘镇。村名来自一条由大湖五禾流向黄沙河的小水河，该河与黄沙河交汇，方言称之为小水[1]。

经济[edit]

小水村与企业合作建设养鸡项目，投入207万元建成一栋1500平方米的鸡舍，驻镇帮扶工作队协调扶贫资金91万元予以支持。项目于2022年建成，村里把鸡舍租给当地企业经营，每年为村集体增收20万元，并提供18个就业岗位[2]。2023年初已出栏第一批肉鸡[2]。

文化[edit]

2019年10月，小水村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录[1]。2020年8月，小水村列入广东省农业农村厅公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，产品为板栗[1]。2026年3月，小水村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
