热水镇是河源市和平县西部的一个镇，地处粤赣交界的九连山区，位于浰江河中上游。东邻阳明镇，南接青州镇，西连连平县上坪镇，北接浰源镇，离和平县城约20千米。[1]

镇名原称「热约都」，因热约圩河边常年有温泉涌出，改称热水。境内森林资源丰富。1938年，和平县第一个党支部在此设立；1945年，东江纵队第三支队转入九连山区，在本镇野猪窝一带设立「九连山区人民自卫总队」。[2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

热水一带民国时期属西南区第八区。1940年（民国二十九年）撤区设乡，分为热水、述迤两乡。1950年西泽一片并入，此后称中村村；1951年西南部的块所、菱角两乡划归沾益县，1953年牛栏江边的太阳乡划归西泽区。[2]

1984年，小江以西的五个大队划归务德区；1988年设热水乡，2003年撤乡设镇。[2]

抗战时期，1934年夏天，罗响（即方华）与张觉青在热水办起东华小学，校舍设在中兴村罗氏祠堂。到1938年8月，和平县第一个党支部已在此设立；1939年12月，县委在下径村三企人自然村开办第一期党员干部训练班。[4][6]

1945年10月，东江纵队第三支队自惠阳北上，经数次激战，11月初到达热水新洞，随即转往九连村的野猪窝。11月3日，部队改番号为「九连山区人民自卫总队」，并设立九连山区工作委员会。[4]

地理环境[edit]

镇域以山地为主，森林资源丰富，境内有成群分布的桫椤，属国家一级保护植物。[3] 面积与森林覆盖率两处记载不同：县政府网站记为172.51平方千米，耕地267公顷，山林1.3万公顷，森林覆盖率93%；博雅地名网记为185.34平方千米，耕地5800亩，森林覆盖率84%。[1][2][3]

浰江河的热水河段，据博雅地名网概况页，可开发水电近1万千瓦，其中约5000千瓦尚未开发（该页未注年份）。[3]

人口数字三处不一：县政府网站称总人口约2万人（该页发布于2026年5月）；博雅地名网依第七次全国人口普查称约7000人（2021年6月公布），其概况页又作16000多人，年份未注。[1][2][3]

经济[edit]

镇内水蜜桃种植近2000亩，已成为主导产品，此外出产药材、香菇、木耳、茶叶和笋竹。[3]

镇里先后在丰山嘴、石圳、九公庙开发三座小水电站，之后引进外资兴建黄峰斗电站和九连电站。[3]

2003年，热水镇被评为省级生态示范镇；2023年10月被评定为广东省森林城镇；2023年11月，热水镇是广东“百千万工程”的首批典型县镇村之一。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

热龙温泉度假村在南湖村，按五星级标准兴建，2006年12月15日开业，设标准客房72间、别墅25套。2006年，该度假村在北京获「中国市场消费者满意十佳温泉」称号。[2][4][5]

热水漂流的河段约10公里，两岸峰峦耸立，奇山异石众多。[3] 黄石坳省级自然保护区2007年升格为省级，总面积9333.3公顷，位于九连山东麓，博雅地名网将其列为本镇的旅游景点。[4]

革命旧址有：「中共和平县第一个支部旧址」，在中兴村罗氏祠堂；方华故居，在中兴村上楼自然村；「张觉青烈士纪念亭」，在南湖村石圳镜新书舍；「东江纵队第三支队总部成立遗址」，在九连村野猪窝；「和平县第一期党训班旧址」，在下径村三企人自然村；「东江纵队第三支队挺进九连山首达地」，在新洞村裴大佛家；「九连山区人民自卫总队医务所遗址」，在蕉坑山沟里。其中首达地与医务所遗址2012年列入和平县不可移动文物名录。[4]

热水革命烈士纪念碑建于1963年，为悼念抗战与解放战争期间牺牲的本镇籍烈士而立，和平县政府于2010年1月将其公布为重点文物保护单位。[4]

著名人物[edit]

方华（1912—1999），原名罗响，中兴村人。1932年投身革命，1938年5月入党。1938年8月前后，他任和平县第一个党支部的书记；1939年任中共和平县委书记，同年当选中共七大代表。新中国成立后，他先后任湛江的市委书记兼市长，后又任茂名市委书记。[4][6]

罗羿（1923—1948），热水人。1940年入党。任教师期间，他为东江纵队送情报、做向导，并掩护伤病员。1947年冬，他所在部队攻打浰源乡公所，他率一个班掩护撤退，在包围中牺牲，年25岁。[7]

王守中（1911—1981），热水人。1934年在东华小学教书，同时帮忙筹办热水农会，并组织青年读书会。1938年秋入党；1945年冬任东江纵队第三支队司令部副官，负责筹措粮款，支持创建九连山根据地。[8]
