金溪村是绣缎镇下辖的行政村，村内有天保第，为县级文物保护单位。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

金溪村原名新民村。农业合作化初期，村里长者向驻村工作队提议改名：村中心有一座龟形小土丘，朝阳照上龟背时闪闪发光，龟头正对前方的小溪，于是改称金溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

人民公社时期，这里叫金溪大队。1988年改设金溪管理区，1999年撤销管理区，改设金溪村民委员会。[1][2]

文化旅游[edit]

天保第在光绪二十二年（即1906年）落成，建造者是迁居此地的曾氏郁文公。2010年，它由县政府列为文物保护单位。[3]

荣誉[edit]

金溪村在2024年4月被列入广东省第一批「乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。2024年1月，它获确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2021年9月，金溪村因沃柑入选广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。2019年10月，它列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
