活水村是连平县大湖镇下辖的行政村，位于大湖镇南面，村名来自村中一股清澈的活泉。[1]
地名由来[edit]
严姓先人在清代从三角塘背迁来此地，起初村名为「石下」。后来觉得这一名字不雅，又在境内发现一股细水长流、十分清澈的活泉，遂改称活水村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予活水村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[2]
