大陂村是连平县忠信镇下辖的行政村。黄氏先祖月梅公落居大陂土板湖一带后，为解决生活用水，修建了拦河陂。因流经大陂、上坣的灌渠段由大陂管辖，规模较大，忠信百姓都称之为「大陂」，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1955年设大陂初级社，1956年改为高级社，1958年为大陂队，1967年组成大陂革命委员会。1983年起改设管理区，1988年至1996年由忠信镇设大陂管理委员会，1999年起才称忠信镇大陂村民委员会。[1]
