新陂村是上坪镇的一个行政村，与石陂村、下洞村等相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1976年，原下坪大队分为高陂、石陂、下洞三个大队；1984年设乡，乡名为新陂乡，村名沿用此名。下洞村的页面将分队之年记为1975年，两说并录。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1998年设立新陂村民委员会，此后未再变更。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，村庄上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
