雁化村位于贝岭镇北部，据百度百科所述，它由火星嶂下的业联、长山、乾化和低寨几个山村合成[1][2]。村名原为“乾坝”，因读音接近“乾化”，1956年并社时与雁湖塘合并，改称雁化[1]。百度百科称本村是革命老区村，并于2021年8月获认定为「2020年广东省森林乡村」[2]。

雁化原名乾坝，后因读音近似改为雁化。1950年至1957年成乡，其后1958年至1976年为雁化大队，1978年至1985年又设雁化乡。1986年起设村委会，1989年一度为管理区，1999年再设村委会[1]。

产业[edit]

2025年，本村的鲈鱼养殖做大了规模：放养鱼苗3万尾，建起保温大棚、养殖桶和冷链物流设施，预计全年可出鲈鱼8吨，产值逾百万元，参与的农户有二十余户[3]。百度百科称村内农副产品有竹木、竹笋和柑橘[2]。
