古石村是广东省河源市龙川县贝岭镇下辖的行政村，村名来自一块大石头[1]。据传旧时村里出了一位大力士，他修陂引水时独自到桐古嶂上搬来一块石头，石面可供两桌、共十六人围坐吃饭，这块石头至今仍在，村子因此取名“古石”[1]。2019年9月，本村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
沿革[edit]
古石的建制变化较多。1950年至1957年为古石乡；1958年至1976年为古石大队；1978年至1986年又恢复为古石乡。1986年设村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年再次设村委会[1]。
道路[edit]
镇政府2019年工作总结称，古石村的行政村道路扩宽工程当年持续推进，村民出行条件有所改善[2]。
