廻龙社区属河源市龙川县的廻龙镇，是镇内一个社区，位于镇中心区，圩市便在这里。社区建制始于1990年，由此沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

廻龙圩始建于清嘉庆九年（1804年），圩边已有一座廻龙寺，地名由寺而来。[1]

社区于1990年设立，此后一直沿用这一建制。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的一份名单显示，回龙社区是「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位之一，该名单针对的是2018年度的创建情况。[1]
