东北村是廻龙镇的行政村，东与罗丰村、万光村接壤，村内有廻龙革命烈士纪念碑。村名的由来是：早先一位从东北迁来的外乡人在此落户，因思念故土，便以「东北」为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期，此处称罗东村，属罗口乡。1951年与罗北村合并，组成东北乡政府；1958年设东北大队，1983年又设东北乡政府。[1]
村委会建制确立于1987年，1989年一度改称管理区，1999年恢复为村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
廻龙革命烈士纪念碑位于村内横岗艮，建于1962年。碑身为方尖形，青砖砌成，外层抹水泥石米，基座为边长3米的正方形，全高约10米。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，东北村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将2022年广东省卫生村的称号授予东北村。[1]
