地名由来[edit]

1987年，本村从田东乡分出，因东江河穿过整个村落而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后，本村归田东乡政府管辖。1977年设东江大队，1983年并入田东乡；此后先后转为村委会与管理区，1999年村委会重设。[1]

风景与旅游[edit]

霍山风景区位于本村，海拔约557米，是省级森林公园。[2][3]

2023年，村庄属环霍山风景区村庄风貌提升示范带覆盖的8个行政村之一。[4] 2022年的镇工作总结称，示范带建设后，村庄的景观面貌焕然一新。[5]

产业与荣誉[edit]

2019年，村里建有灵芝产业扶贫基地。[6]

2019年10月，村庄入选广东省卫生村名录；2021年4月，获评2020年度龙川县文明村镇。[1]
