新龙村是四都镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域内，与新四村、福光村、新川村、四都村、黄沙阁村及四都社区相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1952年，四都乡把所辖八个村的政府分成五个小乡，其中一个小乡取名「新龙乡」，村名即由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里1952年设小乡，1958年10月改为管理区，同年改设大队。1983年4月大队转为乡人民政府，1986年改设村委会，1989年又为管理区，1999年定为村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村党支部带领村民发展油茶种植和清水养鱼等产业。2020年，本村人均收入以24706元计，较五年前增加一倍有余；村集体收入68.9万元，五年间增收66.9万元。[2]

2020年，新龙村作为省定贫困村出列。[2]

规划文件将新龙村列为中心村，与黄沙阁村同级。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，本村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2026年1月，本村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
