长兴村是义都镇下辖的行政村。村名“长兴”早在约三百年前就已叫开，此后一直没有改过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

长兴原属莲塘乡。1958年划进义都乡，编为长兴大队；1983年称长兴乡，1987年设村委会，1989年改为长兴管理区，1999年重新设立村委会，一直沿用。[1]

经济[edit]

砂糖桔是长兴村的特色产业，村在2021年9月由广东省农业农村厅列入第二批省级专业村（“一村一品、一镇一业”项目）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

长兴村获龙川县2020年度文明村镇称号（2021年4月），又在2023年5月被省爱国卫生运动委员会评为2022年度省卫生村。[1]
