上东村是紫金县瓦溪镇的行政村，境内的银场叶家祠，是抗战时期上东交通站的旧址。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年它还包在上濑大队里，属九和公社；到1961年设瓦溪公社，才从上濑分出，单立上东大队。后来先后改为乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）和管理区（1989年），1999年撤销管理区，复设村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

旧址在银场叶家祠一带，祠堂清代所建，2004年重修，坐西北朝东南，三间两进，两侧有横屋，前有余坪和半月形水塘；面阔共24.4米，进深14.5米，屋顶为硬山式，墙用泥砖，墙脚砌条石。抗战期间，紫金地方党组织靠这个交通站传送情报。[2]

镇政府在2024年工作总结中提到，已整治交通站环境、布置革命旧（遗）址宣传栏，并开发上东村文笔塔等旅游项目。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年度广东省卫生村的称号，由省爱卫会在2023年5月授予上东村。[1]
