地名与沿革[edit]

村原名均坑，李、黄、刘、温、傅等姓氏先后迁来定居；1949年新中国成立，为求安定团结、平安，改称均安。[1]1958年成均安大队，属义容人民公社；1983年称均安乡，1987年设村委会，1989年转为管理区，管理区到1999年撤销，村委会随后恢复。[1]

2019年9月，均安村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
