官坑村是九和镇的行政村，据说因姓官的人家最先在此定居而得名。[1] 2024年3月，被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时称官坑村，属古名都下黄沙社（约）；民国时属紫金县下黄砂乡。1958年为九和公社官坑大队，1983年称九和区官坑乡，1987年4月归九和镇官坑村委会，1989年改作管理区，1999年又设村委会。[1]

著名人物[edit]

博雅地名网把宋代的苏协列为官坑村名人：他是苏易简之父，原为蜀地进士，入宋后任州县官，后来迁居汴梁，官至光禄寺丞，死后追赠秘书丞。[1]
