石艮村是西南镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南部，地处丘陵山地。全村下辖七个自然村民小组，距镇政府约5千米。[1]

据博雅地名网，村内已修成约5千米长的水泥公路，村民以农业生产收入为主，并有人利用山地发展林业和养殖业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清嘉庆年间，多个村组自外地迁入，逐渐聚居成村。[1]

1952年，此地设石艮乡，归第九区（大安区）管理。1958年改设石艮大队，隶大安公社；1974年改归西南公社。[1]

1983年再为石艮乡，属西南区；1987年成立村委会，归西南乡；1994年称管理区，属西南镇；1999年复称村委会，直至如今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

石艮村在2020年12月被评为「2020年广东省卫生村」。[1]

2019年9月公布的名单中，石艮村位列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之一。[1]
