历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，明清年间刘姓先祖迁入立村，其后江、雷等十余姓先祖陆续迁来定居，村名由此而来。[1]
1949年，屯埔设乡，所辖包括今天的黄塘村与陂屯村。1961年成为屯埔大队，隶大安公社；1974年转属西南公社。[1]
1984年先后称屯埔乡与屯埔管理区，1999年定名屯埔村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，屯埔村列入2022年广东省卫生村名单。[1]
