外山村是陆丰市甲东镇的行政村，2013年从东林村委会分出外山自然村，另设村委会而成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

外山原属东林：土地改革时它同东林、大茂、后洪合设东林乡，1958年起并入东林大队，1959年划出。[2]2013年，东林村委会分设为东林与外山两个村委会。[1][2]
