旺厝村是陆丰市甲东镇滨海的行政村，面积7平方千米，辖两个自然村，村民以捕鱼为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，1641年吴姓人来此捕鱼谋生，后来朱、刘、蔡等姓陆续迁入，聚成村落。1952年归甲子镇四围乡管；1960年长青、旺厝、赤崁、渡头围四村并为四围大队，属甲东公社；1964年旺厝和渡头围从中分出，另立旺厝大队；1983年称旺厝乡，属甲东区；1987年改村委会，隶甲东镇；1994年称管理区，1999年复称村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村民多数出外务工，种田的劳力少，村集体经济薄弱。村前有蛤线溪，水面八十多亩，可养鱼、虾、蟹和贝类。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
旺厝村名列2024年3月命名的「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]百度百科记述，2025年8月全镇开展禁毒与“双反”清理清查，旺厝列在四个重点村之内。[2]
