后洪村在陆丰市甲东镇半岛北部，三面环潮，面积约5平方千米，由3个自然村组成，距镇政府约3千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，元末明初，村民在此开荒扩耕。土地改革时属第八区（两城区）东林乡；1960年后洪、石美、前乡、大茂从东林乡分出，合设后洪大队，1963年又并回东林大队；1974年后洪、石美、前乡再次分出，合为后洪大队；1983年又并入东林乡，到1987年才再次分出，成为后洪村委会，辖石美、前乡；1994年称管理区，1999年复称村委会。[1]

自然条件与学校[edit]

村地势低洼，土壤盐碱，逢旱涝农业失收，海水养殖也会减产。[1]据百度百科，村里的后洪小学有160余名学生、10名教师。[2]

荣誉[edit]

后洪村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月公布）。[1]
