岱头村是陆丰市甲东镇的行政村，面积约3平方千米，由岱头、水口两个村民小组组成，距镇政府约1.5千米，城乡分类属镇乡结合区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

岱头、水口两村都始置于明代，由零散的房屋逐渐扩连成村。岱头、水口曾与石清、盐寮、巷口一起，在1952年合为属甲子镇的石清居委会，1961年又随石清大队归甲东公社。直到1976年，岱头、水口才分出另立岱头大队，1983年再并回石清乡；1987年又分出，设岱头居委会；1994年称管理区，1999年改称村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，截至2007年村里约3000人，村南多许姓，村北多林姓，水口村则以邱姓为主，约1000人。[2]岱头村民小组耕地少，村里向镇里承包了一百多亩虾塘养对虾、青蟹；水口村民小组种水稻、花生、冬瓜、辣椒。[1]

荣誉[edit]

岱头村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」（2019年9月公布）；又名列2024年3月命名的「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
