雨亭村是陆丰市甲东镇西南部的行政村，隔瀛江与甲子镇相对，面积约25平方千米，离镇政府约2.5千米。村里有1925年建的农会旧址，现为汕尾市文物保护单位。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，宋代末期，村里各姓的先人陆续迁来，围海造田，聚点成村。1949年设雨亭乡并由甲子镇管辖，1961年改称雨亭大队、划归甲东公社；1983年复称雨亭乡，1987年为村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年又称村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村里的集体经济靠养殖、盐业和农作物种植。[1]百度百科补充说，西侧沿江发展海水养殖，晒盐和内溪养殖并举，建有苗种基地，水利设施建设得到珠江水利委员会的帮扶资金。[2]

文物与荣誉[edit]

村里的农会遗址建于1925年，汕尾市人民政府在2022年3月将其列为第三批市级文物保护单位。[1]甲东镇政府网站的景点介绍里也列有雨亭“七君子”纪念馆。[3]2020年12月，雨亭村获2020年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
