鳌峰村是陆丰市博美镇的行政村，在广汕公路与八万公路的交汇处，镇政府所在。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
最早的村民是明成化二十二年从顺德石牌迁来的林姓人，同廖、封、刘几姓一起成村，村名鳌头高，1945年起叫鳌峰村。建国后一度同下寮村并成下寮乡；“文革”中成了红峰敖丰大队；1988年为敖丰管理区，1999年敖丰村委会；直到2003年，经市地名办同意，才恢复鳌峰之名。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村域约2平方公里。登记人口4249人，有2438人在外，主要去了深圳、广州、惠州；在村的1791人里老人小孩居多，从事种粮、种菜和养猪牛，家庭收入靠外出经商打工加上农业。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年3月，鳌峰村进入「第六批广东省古村落」名单；同年9月，列为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。2020年，村里的莲藕让它入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（8月），年底又被评为广东省卫生村。[1]
名胜古迹与人物[edit]
陆丰市政府网所列文物保护点中有鳌峰大夫第和鳌峰宗祠。清代的林国俊（1710—1779）是鳌峰人，乾隆七年（1742年）任苏州府同知，任内办学堂、义学，学堂在大夫第西南，今存遗址；知县张圻赠“史占星聚”匾，悬于大夫第中厅。[2]
