红下村是陆丰市博美镇的行政村，在镇区东侧约1.5公里，辖四个自然村，国道324线和深汕高速公路从村中穿过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
红下在乾隆年间由零散居民点聚成。建国后受土尾乡管辖；1950年成立红下大队（博美公社）；1984年同赤坑一起组成赤坑乡，1988年单列为管理区，1999年定为村委会，至今不变。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村域约10平方公里，登记总人口3020人，耕地1520亩。地少、耕作条件差，外出者占六成。当地形成了山地种荔枝、水田种稻、园地种花生和萝卜等蔬菜的格局。[1]
荣誉[edit]
红下村2019年9月名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，2020年12月评为广东省卫生村。[1]
