桂林村在汕尾市陆丰市碣石镇，位于玄武山西侧、沿海公路南边，面向碣石湾，面积约18平方公里，下分4个村民小组，人口近万，是碣石镇的淘宝村之一。[1][2]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，村民从事农、渔、盐、工、牧、商等多种职业，多数劳动力外出务工经商，村集体收入微薄，基础建设主要靠乡贤和商人捐资。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清朝时桂林的祖先自福建迁来；新中国成立后，与下坣、梅田合为桂梅小乡，隶第六区（碣石区）。1959年单立桂林大队，属碣北公社，1983年称桂林乡（碣北区），1987年改村委会，1994年称管理区，1999年复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

桂林村在2020年9月入选阿里研究院公布的淘宝村名单，2021年10月、2022年10月继续上榜；2020年12月，又被评为2020年度广东省卫生村。[1]
