瀛东社区是甲子镇下辖的社区，1993年11月因开辟新区而设立。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网载，1993年11月，碣石镇开发出一片新区，定为瀛东管理区。此后1999年成为居委会，2002年起为瀛东社区居委会。[2]

陆丰市政府网站上的瀛东社区介绍，与东溪社区的介绍文字完全相同（写其北接元高社区、南靠东宫社区、西连新湖社区，成立于1955年，2016年有1963户、10587人），两者是否有一方误用了另一方的介绍，来源没有说明，本条目不采用该段文字。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予的2020年广东省卫生村称号。[2]
