水乾村在城东街道东部，当地政府网站写作水墘村，是街道里的大村。[1]

概况[edit]

村旁是214国道，南面靠乌坎港，北面靠麻岭山，分一至四村4个村民小组，总人口1.4万人。村里养殖海水和淡水水产，以蚝和乌鱼为主，所产“乌耳白肚蚝”在当地有名气。厦深铁路在水墘村与高美村交界处设站。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，水乾村进入广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单；2023年5月获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[2]
