安东村是汕尾市海丰县城东镇的行政村，地处县城以东，东近赤岸溪，海丰老区经济开发试验区1999年设在这里。[1]

名称与历史[edit]

村材料称，因地处县城之东，东方又寓青龙之瑞、宜于平安，古人称其地为安东，另有上、下两个自然村，称为安东和上安东。明代已有先民居住。[1] 博雅地名网记安东村立于明崇祯年间，1975年从关东大队分出设安东大队，1984年称安东乡，1987年为村委会，2003年起称村民委员会。[2] 村材料说，1975年建城东公社时，公社办公场所和粮所设于此。[1]

村委驻地有安东、上安东、下安东、高厝、寨仔、叶厝寮、渡头、红卫、下关后等自然村，七普常住人口8000多人。居民多从事务工和经商，种植水稻、番薯、瓜类。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有明代吴恒府（俗称「吴半县」）的古墓、佛法僧宝石雕，以及1953年6月1日海丰县人民政府和解放军公安第27团所建黄正文烈士纪念墓。[1] 2020至2022年三届淘宝村名单都含安东村。[2]
