旺官社区是小漠镇政府所在的社区，约1.7平方公里，共3520余人。居民多从事服务业和海水养殖，集体经济薄弱。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，旺官圩的名字在明崇祯年间由“洪官圩”改成。新中国成立后：1952年从惠东县转入海丰县四区，随后依次是鲘门区（1953）、圆墩公社（1959）、鹅埠公社（1960），1965年4月进入小漠公社并设居民大队；1969年称五七居民大队，1984年为旺官乡，1987年起为居委会，1998年重设居委会，此名至今。[1]

2023年4月，旺官社区被列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
