石南村在梅陇镇区南面6公里，广汕公路东侧，面积约3平方千米，2010年总人口约3642人；浅沙村设有小集市，有药店、杂货店和鱼菜市场。[1] 官方名单共列5个自然村，即坡仔头、雷丰寮、东沃、浅沙、彭厝寮。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年属第四区鲘门石南乡；1958年设石南大队，1960年石南乡划入梅陇公社；1984年改石南乡，1987年为石南村委会，1989年称管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]

荣誉与景点[edit]

2023年5月，石南村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1] 镇政府的旅游景点页列有石南村委所在的古桥。[3]
