后径社区在汕尾市城区香洲街道的城乡结合部，东邻新楼，南到城内，西与盐仕接壤；金山路、红海路从其东南经过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网记，其先祖在明末清初由福建迁到海丰，再从海丰移居此处。解放初，后径属红草区东联乡；公社化时期到1988年，是东联大队下的一个村，归香洲公社。1989年设后径管理区，归香洲街道，1999年起改设后径居委会。[1]

人口与荣誉[edit]

社区有430户、5086人。附近有新城中学、林伟华中学、市青少年宫等单位。2019年9月，它列入广东省2018年度“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位；2019年10月又进了当年广东省卫生村的名单。[1]
