西洋村是汕尾市城区香洲街道的行政村，在街道西侧、汕马公路旁，以种植业为主。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此村原是东冲区香洲乡的一个村；人民公社时期至1988年，属东石西联大队，归香洲公社。1989年设西联管理区，隶香洲街道；1999年从西联分出，成立西洋村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与荣誉[edit]
博雅地名网载全村200户、983人，耕地216亩（其中130亩旱涝保收）。2019年10月，它进了当年广东省卫生村名单；2026年1月，被确定为广东省第二批“百千万工程”的典型村。[1]
