新瑶社区在汕尾市城区香洲街道，下分新宫、灰窑两个居民小组。东隔路与凤山街道相望，南邻新港街道，西接城南社区，北靠新区社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

人民公社时期，这里是汕尾镇的郊区大队。1988年改设新瑶居委会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与荣誉[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区有1000多户、5978人。2019年9月，它列入广东省2018年度“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位。[1]
