历史沿革[edit]
1995年设中区居委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与荣誉[edit]
社区有2816户居民，合计12670人（博雅地名网）。它办便民服务业，兴建了“星光老年之家”。2020年12月，广东省爱国卫生运动委员会把它评为2020年广东省卫生村。[1]
