群星村在梅州市兴宁市叶塘镇境内，是镇属的行政村。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村里读书人多，成绩出色，以天上的群星相喻。[1]

1949至1957年为群星乡，1958至1983年为群星大队，1983至1986年设乡政府，1986年起称管理区，1999年称村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 广东省爱卫会在2021年12月评定该村为当年的广东省卫生村。[1]
  • 该村种植蔬菜，列入广东省农业农村厅于2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
  • 广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位的名单于2019年9月公布，该村在列。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

万安围在村内，始建于明初，由张氏万章开基，是椭圆形的围龙屋，三堂二围，共138间房；建筑面积3520平方米，用地约5000平方米。兴宁市人民政府于2015年12月2日把它列入第三批「兴宁市特色古民居」，梅州市人民政府又在2017年3月24日将其列入第五批市级文物保护单位。[2]
