群星村是东源县漳溪乡的行政村，村名由吴氏先祖定居时的取意而来。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
吴氏先祖迁来定居时，希望这里聚集读书人，于是取名群星。[3] 村子在1958年称群星大队，1983年为群星乡，1987年改为群星管理区，1999年设立群星村委会。[2]
2019年10月，群星村进入「2019年广东省卫生村」之列；同年9月，村子还被定为「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之一。[1]
