陂宁村在坭陂镇东北部，距兴宁城区10公里，省道S226和兴畲高速公路穿过村域；面积2.5平方公里，水田1195亩，山林地3600多亩，下设20个村民小组，562户2843人。[2]
地名由来[edit]
划入坜陂公社时，取坜陂的「陂」字与兴宁的「宁」字合成村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前属旧兴宁县第九区陂中乡，新中国成立后与坭陂公社大新大队同为一个乡；1954至1955年又与南方同乡，1962年由坭陂公社划入坜陂公社，称陂宁大队，1984年改乡，1999年改称陂宁村民委员会。2004年11月撤销坜陂镇，该村改归坭陂镇。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
百度百科记，村里依托鸡鸣山景区和高速路网规划旅游度假项目，2025年建成4.5公里水泥村道。[2]2026年1月，陂宁村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
