汤二村在坭陂镇西部，距兴宁城区11公里，下设23个村民小组，户籍人口3318人，2022年实际常住1321人。[2]
地名由来[edit]
村域位于汤湖下片，按上下片的次序，称汤二。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年成立生产大队，汤湖分为汤一、汤二两个大队，此处为汤二大队；1984年改称汤二乡，1999年改称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
资源与古迹[edit]
百度百科记载，村内有温泉资源，还留有清代的「覃恩」牌匾和圣旨牌，与道光年间王中柱开仓赈济乡民的事迹有关。[2]
近年在「百千万工程」支持下，村里建了光伏发电项目，吸引返乡青年发展特色种养业，并推行「汤湖花开香满园」助学公益项目；2024年村集体收入同比增长15%。[2]
