上笃陂村在坭陂镇西南部，四邻为东面的陂新村、南面的东方村、西面的笃陂村，北面隔界是刁坊镇的金银村；分8个村民小组，2022年常住688人。[1]
地名由来[edit]
旧时坭陂区有两个叫笃陂的乡，为便于区分，坜陂一方的叫上笃陂乡，坭陂一方的叫下笃陂乡。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年公社化时划入坭陂公社笃陂乡，1961年划出，归坜陂公社，1984年成为上笃陂乡，1999年起为村民委员会。2004年11月撤销坜陂镇，该村改归坭陂镇。[2]
经济[edit]
近年村里推广丝苗米种植，由「产业村长」陈保基带动复耕，注册「手中粮」品牌。[1]
