官陂村在坭陂镇的南面，到兴宁城区有13公里，全村5.5平方公里，人口2124人，说梅州话（客家话）。[2]

地名由来[edit]

相传从前范、肖两姓为灌溉用水时常起纠纷，官府便下令在溪上修一道水陂，把溪水平分给两边，争端才平息，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年为村农会，1950至1957年为大队，1963至1986年为乡，此后改称管理区，1999年称官陂村民委员会。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

官陂村在坭陂镇的「农光体旅」产业社区综合发展示范带之内，养肉鸽、制造体育用品是当地产业。[2]2019年9月，官陂村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
