地名由来[edit]
数百年前，九子坑的水流入宁江的地方筑了一道泥土拦水坝，这一带因此叫泥陂；后来书写时换成同音的「坭」字，社区和全镇都沿用此名。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1985年，坭陂村撤销，改设坭陂社区居民委员会；2007年定下今名，沿用至今。[2]
