历史沿革[edit]

西郊大队定于1958年，1999年改为西郊居委会，2004年起是西郊社区居委会。[1]

人口与荣誉[edit]

博雅地名网记，社区在册1546户、4777人，农作物以粮食、蔬菜为主。[1]名列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单于2019年9月公布。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

清代建筑永泰关在西郊社区，是兴宁市级文物保护单位。[2]
