米寨村是兴宁市兴田街道的行政村，在街道的城郊北部，辖45个村民小组，面积约1.35平方千米，耕地1020亩。[1]
名称由来[edit]
村原名美米寨，又称美女寨。相传此地曾有一座五谷亭，亭中有穴，每天出米，因而叫米寨。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村在1919至1957年叫米寨乡，其后做过米寨大队（1958至1983年）和米寨乡政府（1983至1986年），自1986年改为米寨村委会。[1]
人口[edit]
