鹅湖村是兴宁市兴田街道的行政村，在兴宁城区西北部，辖16个村民小组，面积约0.5平方千米，耕地820亩。[1]
名称由来[edit]
旧时村落地势低洼，湖泊多，常有天鹅聚集，因而叫鹅湖。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949至1957年是鹅湖乡，之后为鹅湖大队（1958至1983年）、鹅湖乡政府（1983至1986年）、鹅湖管理区（1986年），1999年起称鹅湖村委会。[1]
人口与荣誉[edit]
博雅地名网记，全村在册579户、2250人，上一年农村经济总收入2153万元。[1]2026年3月，村在广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇中获认定。[1]
