城北社区是兴宁市兴田街道的社区，办公地点在农民街11号，辖20个村民小组，位于街道中心区的北部。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

这里在1949年以前叫岭湖乡，其后属宁中区佛岭乡，1959年并进东郊大队，到1961年另立城北大队。以后的名称有城北乡（1983年）、城北村（1987年）、城北管理区（1989年）、城北居委会（1999年），最后在2004年成为城北社区居委会。[1]
